Along with the debut of Atletico Madrid home shirt, away shirt for 2017-18 season was also unveiled by Nike and Atletico Madrid. Based on the theme “Luchamos juntos(we fight together)”, Atletico Madrid would debut 2017-18 Nike away kit when they met Toluca FC in the Mexican club’s centennial match on July 25th.
Atletico Madrid ranks 7th in the top 10 football clubs in the world. There is no doubt that it is a strong team. The club plays its home games at the Wanda Metropolitano with a capacity of 68,000 spectators.
In December 2016, Atletico announced that their new stadium would be called Wanda Metropolitano, with Wanda being the sponsor name and Metropolitano a reference to their first proper stadium, Estadio Metropolitano. The stadium officially opened on 16 September 2017.

In terms of the number of titles, Atlético Madrid is the third most successful club in Spanish football, behind Real Madrid and Barcelona. The away shirt is predominately yellow and has other blue elements. It features a stylish and modern V-collar with a blue stripe. Nike Swoosh and the sponsor’s name are blue. The redesigned club crest is proudly printed on the left of the shirt.
Mesh fabric and breathable stripe on both sides of the shirt are used to keep players cool and dry. What’s more, Nike AeroSwift technology can make players more concentrated on games. The shirt is 10% lighter and more elastic compared to previous shirts.
Blue shorts also have yellow stripe for breathability. This pair of shorts is printed with Nike Swoosh and the club crest, too. Yellow socks are knitted with the brand logo and the word “Atletico”.
